Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Peer review is the process by which journals scrutinize and regulate the quality of the content they publish by inviting experts in the field (peers) to review and comment on submitted manuscripts. The Sierra Leone Journal of Medicine (SLJM) employs a double-anonymous peer review process in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other to ensure impartial and unbiased evaluation of manuscripts based solely on academic merit.
